This past year I had the privilege and opportunity to work with the PepsiCo global design team to help re-imagine the iconic global brand 7UP. The new visual identity is the first overhaul of the design in more than seven years and has been a year-long labour of love. My role as Senior Creative Artwork Lead and Brand Guardian has been to work closely with the 7UP team, 63 markets and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of the design execution roll-out worldwide.
With over 20 years experience in the design, marketing, advertising and print industries, a broad range of creative and technical artworking skills have been achieved, from producing high quality digital and print ready artwork across a multitude of media, to illustrative drawings and extensive image retouching.Now in my second year at PepsiCo I am responsible for creating packaging master templates, guidelines, design execution, consistency of implementation and compliant final approval for all global markets.I support the design teams to ensure smooth transition from concept to production, delivering word perfect, colour accurate, brand compliant artwork to deadline. I oversee the quality of artwork approval and QC of final print output, communicating relevant production specific information across design, artwork, planning and external teams.
